Blog-spiration

Another one to add to the collection

A birthday present from a friend: this bag is so pretty and the detail is really cool, its a sort of dusky pink/beige with a cream crochet overlay-very festival chic and perfect for my upcoming holiday!

Wild shoes

These 'western style' shoes are from Topshop, a sale find with a good reduction that I originally eyed in  February. The leather detail is great, they're so comfortable and go with dresses and jeans. I knew I definitely wanted them after seeing Wild Belle in March where the lead singer was rocking a pair with a slightly higher heel- I think I was totally hypnotised by Natalie Bergman's style and individual beauty (future posts about her for sure!)

IT Dress

I first tried on this tea dress back in May in Topshop Oxford Circus(heaven!)and fell instantly in love with it. I thought I'd go back and get it later, but didn't have time and  reminded myself to buy it on-line. I checked on-line a few weeks later and found it had completely sold out at Topshop!  On ebay the dress was selling for a minimum of  £75! It had become an over-night it dress after various UK TV personalities had been photographed wearing it.
I recently went on ebay UK to try my luck and magically I found one  for £35, and now its mine!

Its great for summer and when its gets cooler I will wear it with tights and a leather jacket.

Tie and Dye

I’ve tie and dyed the ends of hair 3 times since last year and each time I like it more, and each time I've been a little braver with it! It’s easy, sometimes a bit nerve racking: you worry if the dye is evenly distributed etc, (avoid the useless brush that comes with!) but I just go with it and have never been disappointed. Worst case scenario- you dye it back to brown! I loved Melody from Melody’s Echo Chambers’ hair and after seeing her in concert in February I decided to try a tie and dye.

Here’s a few pics documenting the colour.

The Thaw

OK so I haven't blogged in forever. I got lazy. I'm not a lazy person, but when you spend 8 hours a day in front of a computer at work you get a little blasé about wanting to sit at the PC all night when you get home too. Winter came and went, but stayed for what seemed like forever(there was snow in April!) So that deterred me from blogging-I have to admit all I wanted to do was wrap up in warm clothes, sit on the sofa and drink hot drinks rather than sit near the (cold) window and blog! (I should probably buy a lap top one day). Anyway, after several recent purchases I realised its time to get blogging again!!
