Searching for a navy blue coat with leather trim has been somewhat of an obsession recently. I love the contrast of colour, the material and how it looks chic and edgy at the same time-not always easy with 1 article of clothing. So after trawling the shops in the UK last week and finding nothing, I decided to look on http://www.shopstyle.com/ and voilà THE coat appeared. The link was broken, but seeing the price, it was definitely over budget.
The next day in Sandro in Vieux Lille I found the coat at a much more affordable price, thanks to a limited vente privée. It was fate!
The fact that Alexa Chung was photographed wearing the coat recently doesn't hurt either!
