Edie

She loved shopping and spending money on clothes, lots of clothes. Maybe thats one of the reasons I love this girl.

Everything about Edie Sedgwick screamed iconic. She defined the 1960s fashion, music and art scene, especially in New York in 1965.  A muse to many, not just to Warhol, she was one of the original It girls.

Edie cultivated her look which became synonymous with black tights worn under leotards, long chandelier earrings, lashings of dark makeup and a short blond elfin crop.
When I discovered the book of photographs 'Edie Girl on Fire'-I fell in love, her beauty was breathtaking. The images are incredible.

In Warhol's film 'Pretty Little Rich Girl', for the majority of it Edie is simply applying makeup, trying on clothes, talking on the phone and smoking, but its enough-she barely has to speak and she lights up the screen-totally captivating.
